Code Enforcement Board

About this Board

This is a quasi-judiciary board created pursuant to F.S. Chapter 1632 and has jurisdiction over enforcement of most sections of the Palatka Municipal Code. Its purpose is to promote, protect and improvement the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Palatka by providing an equitable, expeditious, effective and inexpensive method of enforcing the codes of the City as described in Chapter 2, Article V of the Municipal Code.

  • Meets at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd Street, Palatka

Membership

Members must reside within the City Limits. Membership is based upon certain qualifications as listed in Palatka Municipal Code Section 2-284. There are seven members plus two alternate members; all members are appointed by the Palatka City Commission.
